English Language Arts 20 course consists of two units of study. Through essays, poems, short stories, novels, movies, plays and various other media, students will gain more knowledge surrounding the theme of the first unit: "Starting Out: Beginning and Becoming" and focuses on Childhood, Discovery, Relationships and Rights of Passage not only from our personal perspective, but from other societies and cultures.
"Moving Forward: Establishing and Realizing" is the second unit of study and is all about Changing Roles, Opportunities, Risks and Beliefs.
Students will express their thoughts and ideas regarding the above themes by participating in forums and speeches, writing essays and letters and creating multimedia projects as well.
