This is a survey course which means it is comprised of a few modules from different areas of the Practical and Applied Arts Resource Management section. The areas are described below.
Forestry Studies:
The aim of Forestry Studies is to provide students with a wide range of learning opportunities to gain an understanding and appreciation of the social, cultural, economic and environmental perspectives of forest resource use and management.
Wildlife Management:
The aim of Wildlife Management 10, 20, 30 is to provide students with the opportunity to examine beliefs and attitudes related to wildlife, and to develop the knowledge and skills that allow an examination of the many occupations in the field of wildlife management
Energy and Mines:
The aim of the Energy and Mines 10, 20, 30 is to provide students with information, skills and abilities that will both make them knowledgeable and responsible citizens and prepare them to pursue careers or employment opportunities in energy and mining industries and/or the services supporting them.
